Terms of Service

Draft awaiting legal review. This text describes how Degen Royale works today, but it has not been approved by counsel and may change before public launch. When it changes, you will be asked to accept the new version before you play.

1. What Degen Royale is

Degen Royale is a social poker game played with play chips. Play chips have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold, redeemed, withdrawn or exchanged for money, crypto, tokens or anything else of value, and they cannot be transferred between accounts. Prizes in tournaments and events are play chips or cosmetic items with no cash value. Real-money play, wagering, token entry and redeemable prizes are not offered.

2. Who can play

You must be 18 or older, and old enough under the law where you live. You confirm this before you can sit at a table. One account per person.

3. Your account

You can play as a guest, sign in with an email link, or sign in with a Solana wallet by signing a message. A wallet sign-in never asks you to approve a transaction and never moves funds. Keep access to your email and wallet secure: whoever controls them controls your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

4. Fair play

You agree to the Fair Play rules. In short: no collusion, chip dumping, multiple accounts, bots or exploiting bugs. We may suspend or close accounts that break them, and remove play chips or items gained by breaking them.

5. Behaviour

Be decent in chat and names. No harassment, hate, threats, spam, scams, personal information about others, or advertising. Chat is filtered and reported messages are reviewed by staff. Messages are kept as a record for moderation.

6. Creators, sponsors and tokens

Some events are hosted by creators or have prizes provided by sponsors; they are labelled as such. Nothing on Degen Royale is an offer, an investment, or a promise of returns. Token information, holder badges and holder-only rooms are shown for community purposes only and are not investment advice. We never ask for your seed phrase or private key.

7. The service

Degen Royale is a prototype. It may change, be interrupted, or lose data; we keep backups but do not guarantee them. Hands are dealt by the server from a shuffled deck that is committed to before each hand and revealed afterwards, so the deal can be checked.

8. Ending your access

You can stop playing and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms; you can ask staff to review that decision.

9. Changes

When these terms change in substance we update the version above and ask you to accept the new version before you play again.
